Highway closed in WA due to large fire

DELAYS EXPECTED 

Freight travelling towards Western Australia will be delayed due to Eyre Highway closed as a result of large fire betweeen Norseman and Caiguna on the WA side of the border.

please note as a result, we are expecting delays in deliveries from and to WA which will cause an increase in transit times.  Any timeslot bookings may require to be rescheduled.

Eyre highway has been reopened. No more escorts needed. Our two units arriving today.

update 4:04pm – 25 Feb 2024 –

Please note changes under Bushfire Behavior and What Firefighters Are Doing sections. The Eyre Highway has reopened with speed restrictions in place. Balladonia Road will remain closed as it has been impacted by fire.

There is no change to the previous alert. Eyre Highway and Balladonia Road remain closed. Traffic escorts through the road closures are planned for today, if conditions allow. Please see Road Closures and Conditions section for details.
